Neděle 1. července byl nejen první prázdninový den, ale také den, kdy se konala VCÚ a VČHL v Nepomukách. Během soutěže v Černovíru jsme se vyhecovali a řekli si, ale co, pojedeme a užijeme si to, i když na časy kolem 17.00 s prostě nemáme. Soutěž začala v 10.00 hod nejdříve kategorií mužů a poté kategorií žen. Útoky probíhaly ze dvou základen, každé družstvo mělo 2 pokusy.
Naši chlapi v obou pokusech zaváhali na rozdělovači a nakonec skončili na 24. místě. Ženy sice žádný velký „průšvih“ neudělaly, ale výsledné časy stačily na 14. místo.
